"You dont get it. When I left the Wonderbolts, I was branded an Outcast, a Lame. No way can I go back and see the love of my life again"

So, Rainbow Dash and Strike used to be in the Wonderbolts together, but after he hurt his wing, he left; embarrassed. He had always loved RD and he wanted to see her again at the Ponyville Christmas Party; so he asked his cousin (My Ponysona) to find him a costume. His wing is bust because he injured it several years ago.
